Forget Halo, THE definative Sci-Fi franchise that makes PS3 owners jealous of the 360 is undoubtably the Mass Look Trilogy.
It’s value export for the knowledge it will give you in ME2 and you can import your saved Shepard from the 1st to the 2nd, a brilliant thought.

Rare is the day that a game like Mass Look comes along. But when such a game does arrive, you know it’s going to be a excellent one.
Mass Look is an RPG by Bioware, the same company that made Star Wars: KOTOR. They have a very unique way of tackling the RPG genre. It isn’t a second life simulator like Fallout, and it isn’t anything like a JRPG like Final Fantasy either.
In the end, Mass Look has a tale to tell. The year is 2183 and a few decades beforehand scientists on Mars exposed an ancient alien technology which propelled them across the stars. They soon came into supporter with the rest of the Galactic convergence, and unlike all the films had shown, these aliens were for the most part benign, and were pleased to welcome humanity onto the Citadel, granting them an embassy there.
I want spoil too much, but in the end you play as Commander Shepard, the initially creature Spectre (The Spectres are the right hand of the Citadel Council.) Your mission is to bring in to justice a rogue Turian Spectre, who attacked a creature colony. The plot gets a lot more high-flying though.
The game is brilliant. The gameplay itself is honestly average, there are a few flaws and bugs. But its value export this just for the wonderful, wonderful tale. I completely urge this.

I like Mass Look. It is undoubtedly my favourite game of all time. The tale is absorbing. It’s immerisive and the more you play the more you’re sucked in by it. I won’t do again the gushing praise that has been written here by other adoring fans, needless to say it is a fantastic game.
But realistically speaking, there are some negatives. All of the side quest planets are pretty much the same. The scenery is bland and uninteresting, driving the Mako is a chore and the cookie harvester buildings get very dull after a while.
The game starts well but when you initially visit the citadel a small perseverance is vital. There is an dreadful lot of talking and practically no action. Stick with it though and your perseverance will be rewarded.
The classics journal includes Bring down the Sky which is pretty solid dlc. The other dlc which isn’t built-in is Pinnacle Staion. No loss as it’s very, very poor. The best comparison I can give is Horse Armour!
By and large an brilliant game, fantastic squadmates and well value a playthough. Speaking of the squadmates, what a shame they’ve sidelined most of them in Mass Look 2. It may be a poorer game because of it.

I only played this game now because my ancient pc wasn’t able to run it, so now that i bought an xbox i finally had the chance. And oh boy, is this an awesome game.
I’ve played my impart of games over the being, amongst them many RPGs, and I’ve got to tell you, tale-wise, this is probably the best. It simply grabs you from start to end. I even found myself completing all the side-quests, just because they were so well made. Bioware made an awesome universe here-It’s sci-fi at its best, and completely believable. The character interactions and accent animations are beyond anything i’ve ever played. Gameplay-wise, it’s no slouch either, apart from some framerate issues that don’t hamper the gameplay. I found it to be an incredible game, so much that i’m replaying it in other difficulties, which i reckon i never done in these kinds of games.
You owe it to yourself to play this before the sequel comes out. I hope it lives up to this, I’m sure it will. But please don’t play the second before before a live audience this colossus of a game. It’s a damn excellent wits to buy an xbox.

After reading all the reports on this game I looked forwards to before a live audience it. What a huge mistake that was, I found it to be very dull. At the start there is a small amount of action, but after that it is just walking around going to meetings, trying to find people in a very dull setting.Worst of all at the same time as going around a corner in one of the buildings a number of the “rival” ambushed me and I was killed. When I wanted to resume the game at a saved check top, there was not one so I had to start the game from new.I quiver to wonder what would happen if I had played numerous hours into the game, and then had to start at the very begining again. Whole waste of time.
