Just finished before a live audience F.E.A.R 2 and gotta say WOW what a game , usually games of this genre / survival horror are played from a 3rd person perspective BUT not so here ,F.E.A.R 2 is played from a 1st person view / FPS and it works a treat ,now I wanna see a RESI EVIL game done like this
The tale is gripping and well told( ALMA is one scary lady )and its full of jump out of your seat moments , the graphics are brilliant – the slow mo tactical stick look looks incredible ,the rival AI is terrific – all the enemies are very inteligent , they’ll run for cover and also warn there mates that your just about to toss a grenade at them , the weapons are very passable – the scoped weapons are mainly excellent
I loved every minute of this game , its the best FPS I’ve played in a long long time , played on normal it took me about 10hrs to exact , so it’s not a very long game but it’s not to fleeting either, and these days a game that has a release player mode that lasts 10hrs is NOT BAD at all – even more so when you consider that alot of games mainly shooters are more multiplayer /online driven , Ive played F.E.A.R 2 on multiplayer a few times ( in team battles only ) and it was a very excellent experience.

I’d played the original FEAR on the PC and Xbox and had always been a fan, so when I played a quick demo of the sequel, I thought it would be a worthwhile investment. Its a decent enough game, but I’m worried thats it. The graphics are better, it probably plays a small better and you do get to control a huge, power armoured robot, which is a highlight. Its not scary… atmospheric, but theres no dread. Combat is pretty excellent, but I’ve played better.
The largest drawback for me but is that I can only walk around not meaningful where I’m going for so long before I get bored. In all its only a affront improvement on the initially and you don’t get to weild two guns like in the initially!!! And also, whats with the enemies that just don’t die?? After a fleeting while, this becomes hugely frustrating. I had hoped for so much better. FEAR 2 is value a punt but there are better FPS’s out there.

This game screams at you in more ways than one, i initially loved before a live audience the run on the PC branching them out onto the other consoles and believe this one is the best so far and not just because its the simplest to do on the toughest problem. If considering to play this one initially then its not too terrible as it is a new character from the initially games but it helps to know the tale behind the carnage. Simply buy this game and the others if you haven’t, not scary but can give you the shivers :p

Dread 2 is incredible. I have played the initially one and that realy was the most mental game i have ever played so this encouraged me to buy this one. As soon as you start before a live audience the storyline it gets you right into the action. The shooting side of this game is miles of fun, mainly with the slow mo look it makes it so worthwhile to pop in and out of cover and blast your enemies. The scary side of this game isnt as excellent as the initially i would say, but its not far off, it still is intense and makes you jump out of your skin at parts. The graphics on this game are also incredible, the lighting look and the destructible envireoment are beutiful to look at.
The business that this game surprised me the most is the online multiplayer. It is really excellent, i did not expect it as i thought it was just going to just be a excellent release player game and a really terrible multiplayher, but the multiplayer is really quick paced and the load out chooser is really well set out.
All in all this game is a fantastic buy second hand as you will get it cheap and have hours and hours of fun on it!

its an OK game but id prefer call of duty of something. there is a excellent selection of guns and always available ammo so you never get bored. this game just keeps you waiting to see when alma is going to pop up. IT ISNT A SCARY GAME WHATEVER PEOPLE SAY!!
